HostGator provides a simple and secure order process for new customers. The signup process carefully walks customers through all the stages of the process necessary to establish a new hosting account.
When customers start the order process, they will be prompted to select the particular type of hosting they wish to purchase. The next step asks customers if they want to register a domain name. The system allows clients to enter the domain name they want to purchase. HostGator’s domain registrations system will then let the individual know if that domain name is still available. Those who already have a domain name can select the already domain name option and use that domain name with their new hosting plan.
During the signup process, customers will then be asked which specific hosting package they are ordering. The next step is to select a payment option. New customers can sign up to pay monthly, per year or for a 24-month period. If a current customer is adding a new plan to their hosting account, they can select, “add order to account” at this step.
The order process will then ask customers to enter all necessary information. This is where clients will type in their name, address, and other contact information and payment details. HostGator provides a safe and secure ordering process for their customers. Clients can order with confidence at all times.
Before the order process can be submitted, customers must agree to the terms of service. They will be able to click on the TOS to carefully read through the information before checking the “I agree” box. If someone does not agree to the terms of service, they will not be able to purchase hosting plans from HostGator.
Hosting accounts are not set up instantly. HostGator has staff members that manually review each order before completely the processing of new hosting accounts. This allows them to work to prevent fraud and to prove added security for themselves as well as their hosting customers.
Customers should not have any difficulty signing up for hosting solutions regardless of the type of hosting plan they order. The entire process is step by step and does not create any difficulty
